Turns out, the monkey gene runs in the family.
We are in sooo much trouble.

Yup, this last one was not staged at all. I looked over and she had conveniently pulled the drawers out like stairs and proceeded to climb up them. And like any good mother, I took a few pictures before I took her down.
At one year old, we are definitely in for a long journey of monkey business to come.
good grief! That last photo made me laugh out loud so hard! ESPECIALLY since her cousin Lacy still has not ever thought of that:) Isn't amazing that when you think the day they turn one, is just one day later than the rest, yet they all of the sudden start doing SO many new things. So hard on a mommy! Hope you are having a wonderful time preparing for Christmas! Thanks for the hilarious photos.
ReplyDeleteThat is a regular monkey!

ReplyDeletehey...just talked to Erika and she LOVES their crib-tent they picked up at walmart. Iz can't climb out and she has been totally fine with it on top of their sleigh crib. She said it's supposed to fit to many models of cribs. SO, if Miss Monkey is still climbing out and you, like most mommies, don't want your newly 1yr old in a bed that she can EASILY climb out of! Wanted to pass on.
