Finally Some Snow

Cousin Kelly had posted some pictures of the snow storm they had in Oregon. The next day we had a storm of our own.

Smiley McGee

Our baby girl has begun to smile at faces she recognizes. We were driving to Anchorage Tuesday and after 3 hours of riding in the back by herself, she was super happy to see mommy.
(The lighting wasn't very good on this picture, but it was still cute)

Sleep Tight

Hailey traveled to Anchorage for the first time after Christmas. She was a trooper in the car.  She slept the whole way, only waking up twice to eat. We were very proud parents. Then we spent two nights in a hotel (mommy was very nervous). The bed was quite a bit smaller than the one we all sleep in at home. Hailey needed some space so she decided to sleep in her big girl's bed. It was her first time sleeping all by herself through the night. We were glad she did so good, but we like her best snuggling with us.

Moooo

Mema Yecker gave this adorable outfit to Hailey for Christmas. I accidentally shrunk the hat in the dryer.  I don't think she was very happy about that (or maybe it was gas).
Whatever it was, she got over it fast. :)

Growing Up Fast

Hailey's Big Weigh-in: At her 3 week weigh-in the day after Christmas, Hailey pulled the fish hook down to an impressive 8 lbs 6 oz. That's up from her post birth dip down to 7 lbs 2 oz. Way to Grow, Hailey!

After some trial and error, we realized we needed to put a water proof pad under her while she was being weighed because she loves to pee on the couch.

Our First Christmas

Santa left us a wonderful present this year.

Hailey's hair is long enough that she could wear the little barrette that Santa brought her.

All this Christmas stuff tuckered little Hailey out
