Learning to Ride

At our Welcome Home party, Uncle Matt thought it would be a good idea to teach Hailey how to ride a four wheeler.

"Is this how I'm supposed to do it?"

"This is fun!"  A true Alaskan girl, soon she'll be riding the big kind along with all the boys. Hailey was laughing and thoroughly enjoying her time with Matt on the toy.

Snowflakes

March 3rd brought gigantic snowflakes, the kind that make a Christmas Eve perfect. Daddy though it would be a wonderful introduction of snow to Hailey. She didn't know what to think of the huge cold things falling from the sky.

He tried to get her to stick out her tongue, which she does so well.

...but he missed.
The cold flake took up half of her face, but she didn't seem to mind to much. She did fuss a bit when it wouldn't go away. It was quite funny to watch her reaction. Hopefully she'll grow up to love the snow as much as us so we can have fun enjoying the longest season we have together outside.

Tuckered Out

Mom makes me do tummy time every day. Normally I do really well, going at least 15 minutes without even fussing. Today was not a normal day. Today...

...tummy time sucks.

Tummy time makes me work so hard that I just crashed. I almost fell through dad's legs I was so tired.

Not Very Nice

I fell asleep...
...and Daddy made fun of me.

Backpack, Backpack

Grandpa bought me my very first backpack at REI. Thank you Papa Bear!
